CPSDA’s 10th Annual Conference and Symposium:
Stimulating Knowledge, Growth and Leadership to Fuel Victory

Submit your speaking proposal for CPSDA’s 10th Annual Conference!

We are looking for speakers with dynamic and informative presentations focused on leadership and applied science for sports dietitians fueling victory.
Submission Deadline: September 11, 2017, 11:59 PST

 How to Submit Your Proposal:
Create a portfolio of the information listed below and e-mail it to Conference Planning Committee at [email protected].

  1. Name
  2. Title/Credentials
  3. Organization
  4. Phone
  5. Email
  6. A brief bio (50 words)
  7. A 200-300 word abstract/summary of the presentation. Highlight specifics of how your presentation will align/apply to our audience
  8. Acknowledge conflicts of interest and sponsor relationships

What You Need To Know:
Include your name in the submitted portfolio title as follows: Patrick-Taylor.pdf.  PDF or MS Word document portfolios are acceptable.
Disclose conflicts of interest in the acknowledgements section of your submission portfolio.

  1. Accepted submissions will be notified by September 29, 2017. At that time, further details will be requested.
  2. Unaccepted submissions will be notified by October 13, 2017.
  3. CPSDA will for out-of-pockets costs associated with travel, as well as, a set honorarium.
  4. Travel expenses include one-night hotel stay and flight.

Conflicts and Disclosures of Interest:
It is the aim of CPSDA to provide content of exceptional intellectual quality and ethical substance. All presenters are required to indicate if they have a relationship that, in the context of the subject matter and content of their submission, could be perceived as a real or apparent conflict of interest. This pertains to relationships with dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or cosmetic ingredient and/or finished goods manufacturers and/or marketers, biomedical/analytical device manufacturers, contract manufacturers, contract laboratories, inventor/co-inventorship of a patent pending or issued, or with other corporations whose products or services are related in any way to the subject matter and content of the submission.

Disclosure is to include any relationship that may bias one’s submission or which, if known, could give the perception of bias. Such relationships include, but are not limited to, employment by or receipt of research funds from an industrial concern, ownership of stock, membership on a standing advisory council, committee, or board of directors, authorship of a book of related title/topic, or being publicly associated with a company or its products or services. Other areas of real or perceived conflicts of interest could include receiving honoraria or consulting fees, receipt of gifts, gratuities, loans or special favors (including trips or speaker’s fees), or receiving equipment in or out of the context of a research grant from such corporations or individuals representing such corporations. Upon acceptance of a presentation submission, audience members will be made aware of any existing relationships.
