Eight national recognition awards (listed below) are being presented on May 22, 2013 by the CPSDA at the 5-year-old organization's Awards
Banquet, including the second"Tom Osborne Award" presented to Greg McGarity (right), Director of Athletics at the University of Georgia. Dr. Osborne (left), the 3-time NCAA championship 
head football coach at the University of Nebraska who has recently retired from his position as Director of Athletics, is widely recognized by Sports RDs for making "Performance Nutrition" an essential and fully functioning component of the Cornhuskers' athletic department in the 1980s.
